When hemorrhoids, or sores, or noises are located in the ears, they are due to improper functioning or to impure blood in the liver and kidneys, because, according to Chinese theories, the ears are the cavities of the liver and kidneys. Inflammation of the rectum, piles or fistulas are due to the large intestines and the lungs, as the large intestines are the sub-organs to the lungs.
