Peanut Oil
In the various nations, the kinds of grease used in cooking the daily food are very different. No other nation has a grease that compares with the Peanut Oil used by the Chinese in their cooking. The pneumatic-shaped shell of the peanut resembles the shape of the lungs, and its white color belongs to the mineral element as do the lungs. Therefore, peanuts are good for the lungs and for their sub-organ, the large intestines.
In China, peanuts are boiled and sun-dried slowly, after which they are eaten as candies. Roasted peanuts are far less beneficial to the human system, as the fire dries out the natural moisture of the peanut and causes it to partake of the nature of the fire element. In Russia, beef fat is used more plenteously as a cooking grease than in any other country. Animal fat generates heat in the body. On this account, the Russians use a great deal of it in order to enable them to withstand the cold climate of the North, but the people who live in either the Torrid or the Temperate Zones are harmed instead of benefited by the consumption of animal fat. Their systems frequently become over-inflamed, with boils, growths inside the body, or cancers as a result. In America, some people use olive oil or butter for cooking. Butter is an animal fat; olive oil is much to be preferred, but it is too expensive for common use. The olive is green and belongs to the vegetation element. The liver and gall bladder also belong to the vegetation element; therefore olive oil has a salutary effect upon them.
