A very small order containing only seven species, all small bushes, natives of New Holland, and remarkable for the peculiar neatness of their appearance. In habit, they may be compared to heaths, with which they agree in the anthers bursting by a pore at the end. Nothing is known of their properties. 879 Tetrathéca Sm.
