Arisarum
Only three species compose this genus, which is confined to the Mediterranean region. To that described on p. 112, Vol. I., the following should now be added:
A. proboscideum (proboscis-like). fl., spathe erect, greyish-white and inflated below, the upper part olive-green, narrowed into a proboscis which is often 5in. long; spadix included. February. l. solitary or few, 3in. to 4in. long, 1in. to 2in. broad, hastate; petioles 4in. to 6in. high, stout, cylindric. Upper Arno and the Apennines. (B. M. 6634.)
