C. spicatus (spiked). fl., spadices elongated, spicate, leafy at base; spathe opening longitudinally. l. terminal, pinnatisect; segments reduplicate, linear, acuminate, bifid at the apex; petiole fibrous at the base. Caudex finally smooth. h. 12ft. Moluccas. SYNS. Area and Pinanga globosa.
