Coccoloba
(from kokkos, a berry, and lobos, a pod; in reference to the fruit). Seaside Grape. ORD. Polygoneae. A rather large genus of stove evergreen trees, some of which are ornamental. They grow well in good loam. Cuttings (of most of the species) of ripened wood, with leaves entire, taken off at a joint, will root freely in sand, under a bell glass. The best species are given below.
