To the species described on pp. 484-5, Vol. I., the following should now be added:
D. Leschenaultianum (Leschenault's). fl. white, 1/2in. to 3/4in. in diameter, sub-campanulate, two to five together in the upper-most axils; segments oblong or linear-oblong. Spring. l. rather rigid, 1in. to 4in. long, 1in. to 2in. broad, narrowed to distinct petioles, varying from elliptic-lanceolate to almost orbicular, cuspidate, acute, acuminate, or almost caudate. h. 1ft. to 2ft. Mountains of South India and Ceylon. (B. M. 6935.)
