H. cucumerifolius (Cucumis-leaved). fl.-heads yellow, large, radiate. Summer. l. triangular-ovate, wavy, coarsely toothed, sub-cordate at base. 1883. Annual.

H. japonicus (Japanese). fl.-heads golden-yellow. Autumn. Perennial.
