Laburnum (To the species and varieties)

To the species and varieties described on p. 224, Vol. II., the following should now be added:

L. Alschingeri (Alschinger's). fl. of a paler yellow than in the common species, freely produced, some of the racemes measuring 1 1/2ft. in length. Croatia. Very floriferous. It is doubtful whether the plant generally cultivated under this name is the true I. Alschingeri.
