To the species described on p. 280, Vol. II., the following should now be added; L. vitiensis (Fiji). fl., corolla cream-coloured, silky-tomentose, the tube very long and slender, the segments ovate-oblong, obtuse; anthers and pistil projecting. l. oblong-lanceolate, glabrous, 4in. to 6in. long, 1in. to 1 1/2in. broad; petioles and lower part of the midrib purplish. h. 3ft. to 4ft. Fiji, 1884. A highly ornamental shrub.
