Muscat of Alexandria
Fruit greenish-yellow, golden when highly ripened, large, long-ovate; flesh firm, juicy, sweet, and rich, with a high Muscat flavour; bunches large, long-tapering. A very handsome and excellent, late Grape.

A synonym of Chlorophora tinctoria (which see).

Included under AEchmea (which see).
Mesospinidium
Three species formerly included here are now referred to Cochlioda (which see).
Metrosideros
To the species described on p. 361, Vol. II., the following variety should now be added:
M. floribunda alba (bundle-flowered, white). fl. pure white.
Muscari Azureum
A synonym of Hyacintus azureus (which see).
