Mussaenda (To the species described on p)

To the species described on p. 401, Vol. II., the following should now be added:

M. erythrophylla (red-leaved). fl. three or four, sulphur-yellow, funnel-shaped, borne on short pedicels; bracts dazzling scarlet, roundish-ovate, 3 1/2in. long, 3in. broad. l. opposite, roundish-ovate, bright green. Congo, 1888. A shrub, wholly covered with silky pubescence.
