Swainsona (To the species and varieties)

To the species and varieties described on pp. 527-8, Vol. III., the following should now be added:

S. Ferrandi alba (Ferrand's white). fl. yellowish-white in bud; corolla snow-white when fully expanded, with a broad, spreading standard; keel small; wings much reduced. Probably a garden variety of S. galegifolia.
