STYLIDEÆ.
Like the last, the properties of this very small but curious order are, if any, undiscovered. All are inhabitants of New Holland, and either herbs or half-herbaceous shrubs. Fine tropical herbs, with broad, fleshy, downy leaves, and purple or scarlet flowers.
