Kerria Japonica, also known as Corchorus Japonica, is a small shrub from 4 to 6 feet tall and bears golden yellow flowers in June. It can be used in both formal and informal gardening. It is easily transplanted and thrives in almost any garden loam. Rhodotypus Kerrioides bears single white flowers.

They are also useful for massing in moist, semi-shady, places but will grow in sunny locations if kept sufficiently moist.
