About thirty species, natives of Europe, West and Central Asia, and North Africa, are here included. To those described on p. 359, Vol. I., the following should now be added:
C. Troodii (Trood's). fl. numerous; perianth white, 1 1/2in. in diameter, the segments narrow-oblong. Autumn. l. appearing in spring, 6in. to 12in. long, 2/3in. to 1in. broad, strap-shaped, obtuse, dark green. Corm depressed-globose. Cyprus, 1886. (B. M. 6901.)
