Passe Crassane
Fruit medium, roundish-obovate; eye large and open, in a pretty deep basin; skin greenish-yellow, with numerous dots of brown-russet; flesh rather gritty, half-melting, but finely perfumed. January to March. One of the finest late Pears known.
