Picotee
This, like the Carnation, is being steadily improved by cultivators, the greatest advance having been made in the Yellow-ground section. The under-mentioned varieties are not all new, but should be grown in all good collections:
Red-edged. DR. ABERCROMBIE (Fellowes), broad edge of deep red, on pure white ground; MRS. FULLER, broad red edge, on good white ground; WILLIAM SUMMERS (Simonite), a good old variety, with medium heavy edge.
