Verulam

Fruit large, obovate; eye open, in a shallow basin; skin dark orange-yellow, entirely covered with dots of dull russet. December till March. A very fine stewing Pear.

Verbena

(the old Latin name used by Virgil and Pliny). Vervain. ORD.

Valoradia

A synonym of Ceratostigma (which see).
