P. caeruleum himalayanum (Himalayan). fl., corolla 1 1/2in. in diameter, the segments lilac-blue, round; panicle axis and calyx very hairy. Himalayas. P. flavum (yellow). fl. light yellow, 1in. in diameter; corolla infundibular-campanulate, glandular-puberulous; cymes corymbose. September. l. pinnate; leaflets many-jugate, elliptic-lanceolate, acute. Stem 2ft. to 3ft. high, simple or corymbosely branched, loosely tomentose above. New Mexico. (B. M. 6965.)
